Appliances and roofs leak, pipes crack, hot water heaters burst, and sinks overflow. Water damage is the most common form of damage to homes and businesses in Central Oregon. It starts by deforming building materials, and then fuels the growth of mold and other toxins. From water extraction to dehumidification and drying, Pioneer’s team has the knowledge, equipment, and expertise to restore homes or businesses from any severity of water damage in the most cost effective and efficient way possible. In addition to current IICRC certifications, our technicians are trained daily to ensure they stay up-to-date with industry leading techniques and practices.
Pioneer utilizes an array of equipment and techniques depending on the amount of water, and the amount of time the water has been stagnant. From state-of-the-art detection and testing equipment to a fleet of specialty drying equipment, we are diligent about maintenance and updating equipment to ensure our technicians have the best tools for the job.
The Importance of fast action
Within minutes, water can begin soaking building materials and personal property, and within hours, those soaked materials and items can begin to deform and support the growth of mold. As time goes on, the damage only gets worse, and the restoration process becomes more and more intensive. That’s why Pioneer’s team is ready to respond within one hour, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. And unlike a lot of the restoration companies out there, we get to work right away by extracting water and setting up drying equipment.

Types of Water Damage
Type 1- Clean Water
Clean, drinkable water is the most common source of water damage. The damage typically originates from frozen or broken pipes, water heater leaks, roof leaks, ice maker hoses, etc.
Type 2- Grey Water
Washing machine, dishwasher, shower, and sink leaks are all examples of grey water sources. Grey water starts by doing damage in a similar fashion to clean water, but the presence of contaminates can complicate the cleanup and restoration process due to the extra sanitization that is necessary.
Type 3- Black Water
Black water can be caused by toilets overflows, sewer backups, defective septic systems, or stagnant liquid and can lead to severe illness or death due to high concentrations of disease causing viruses, bacteria, and protozoa. Proper cleanup is a critical measure to ensure the safety of inhabitants.
Proper maintenance and care of appliances, septics tanks, sump pumps, and water barriers will help minimize the chance of water damage. It is also important for every inhabitant to know where the water supply cutoff is in the event of an emergency.
